Glock 22 .40 caliber | Intro to Firearms

Research: Try and find your selected firearm in Firearms Guide. Then, go to the manufacturer’s website to see if you can locate an owner’s manual (even if you have one, try to find one online). Research the internet to find the field-stripping procedures from a reputable source, such as Brownells.

Note: If those avenues do not yield results, call the manufacturer to see if they can provide any information to the year of production, based on the model and serial number.

Apply: Field strip the firearm and record what systems are separated during the process.

Reflect: It’s likely that the firearm you use for this project is one that is well known to you. Consider the challenges you might face when presented with a firearm you’ve never seen before by a customer.

Respond: Describe the firearm you selected, including all of the following information:

The year, make, and model of the firearm.

The features of the assembly of the firearm: action, rifling, trigger design, and sight design.

The fieldstripping procedure and the main components of the firearm.

Where you can access the owner’s manual and parts-schematic.

I will be using the Glock Model 22 .40 caliber handgun
